Brandie, Treatment Coordinator
I have been in dentistry since 2003. I am the Treatment Coordinator for the office. I decided to go into dentistry because I enjoyed going to the dentist as a kid. I started in dentistry as a dental assistant and decided to venture into a front office role. I love the artistic side of dentistry. Dentists are true artists of the mouth in how they can restore esthetics and function. Dentistry has come a long way over time and it’s only getting better. I enjoy seeing our patients get excited about their dental health. Outside of dentistry, I enjoy being with my husband and three girls, Paige, Morgan, and Reese. We enjoy family vacations, shopping, Crossfit, and cheering on the Buckeyes!
Maria, Appointment Coordinator
Hello! My name is Maria Ruh. I am the scheduling coordinator, here at Arlington Dental Group. I have been in dentistry since 2013; I attended Eastland Career Center, for Dental Assisting. I decided once I graduated, that I enjoyed doing the business side of dentistry. I love my team, here at Arlington dental and I enjoy seeing the smiles on our patient’s faces. When I am not taking care of patients, I enjoy taking my dog, Fitch, on walks at the park. I love my big Italian family, and love spending time with them. We love our Ohio State Buckeyes! I enjoy working out and eating good food, with good company.
I attended Lima Technical College and graduated from the Dental Hygiene program in 2000.I decided to go into dentistry because I wanted to help people. It amazes me how dentistry has evolved over the decades. Research showing the oral/systemic connection has completely changed and how I treat my patients. I enjoy spending time with my family, going to concerts, cooking and camping. I am married and we have two children, Lydia and Jack and a cat named Stitch
I attended The Ohio State University and graduated from the Dental Hygiene program in 2005. I decided to go into dentistry because I have always been fascinated with teeth. I love making people healthy and building friendships with my patients. It is interesting to me how the mouth and body are connected and I get to use that knowledge every day to help my patients. In my free time I enjoy being with my family, boxing classes, gardening, and vacations to the beach. I also love to be with my three dogs, Grizzly, Gunner, and Bo.
Elvia, Dental Assistant
I have been in dentistry since 2013. I am a chairside assistant for Dr. Fair and Dr. Vaidya. I decided to go into dentistry because I had an opportunity to learn a whole new position as a chairside assistant. This position has allowed me to use my strengths and abilities with people along with being a helping hand to the doctor. What I find most interesting about dentistry is how unique each individual is and how their oral health is systemically connected to their body. Being part of the process in restoring teeth to a healthy and functional state is exciting and oddly fun! I enjoy being with my husband doing anything outdoors. We enjoy playing disc golf, bike rides, camping, hiking and spending time with friends. I also enjoy yoga and cooking.
Kristen, Dental Assistant
I have been in dentistry since 2009. I recently attended the Expanded Functions Dental Assistant program at Ohio State and completed it in August 2016. I received my license to place fillings. I decided to go into dentistry because I always enjoyed going to the dentist as a kid. I also love helping people with their dental needs. The most interesting aspect of dentistry to me is all the different procedures we can provide for our patients. The team that we have at Arlington Dental Group is by far the best people to work with. They are like my family. Outside of dentistry, I enjoy being outdoors, hanging with family and friends, vacationing, and cheering on the Buckeyes! I am married and we enjoy being with our cats, Olaf and Kalvin.
