Brandie, Treatment Coordinator
I have been in dentistry since 2003. I am the Treatment Coordinator for the office. I decided to go into dentistry because I enjoyed going to the dentist as a kid. I started in dentistry as a dental assistant and decided to venture into a front office role. I love the artistic side of dentistry. Dentists are true artists of the mouth in how they can restore esthetics and function. Dentistry has come a long way over time and it’s only getting better. I enjoy seeing our patients get excited about their dental health. Outside of dentistry, I enjoy being with my husband and three girls, Paige, Morgan, and Reese. We enjoy family vacations, shopping, Crossfit, and cheering on the Buckeyes!
Maria, Appointment Coordinator
Hello! My name is Maria Ruh. I am the scheduling coordinator, here at Arlington Dental Group. I have been in dentistry since 2013; I attended Eastland Career Center, for Dental Assisting. I decided once I graduated, that I enjoyed doing the business side of dentistry. I love my team, here at Arlington dental and I enjoy seeing the smiles on our patient’s faces. When I am not taking care of patients, I enjoy taking my dog, Fitch, on walks at the park. I love my big Italian family, and love spending time with them. We love our Ohio State Buckeyes! I enjoy working out and eating good food, with good company.
My name is Trudy Risner. I attended Lima Technical College and graduated from the Dental hygiene program in 2000. I decided to go into dentistry because I wanted to help people. It amazes me how dentistry has evolved over the decades. Research showing the mouth and body connection has completely changed how I treat my patients. I enjoy spending time with my family, going to concerts, cooking and camping. I am married and we have two children, Lydia and Jack and a cat named Stitch.
I attended The Ohio State University and graduated from the Dental Hygiene program in 2005. I decided to go into dentistry because I have always been fascinated with teeth. I love making people healthy and building friendships with my patients. It is interesting to me how the mouth and body are connected and I get to use that knowledge every day to help my patients. In my free time I enjoy being with my family, boxing classes, gardening, and vacations to the beach. I also love to be with my three dogs, Grizzly, Gunner, and Bo.
Elvia, Dental Assistant
I have an eclectic work history in customer service and fine arts/ sculpture. Growing up I always enjoyed trips to my dentist and found the field interesting and rewarding in many ways. Since becoming a team member at Arlington Dental Group, I have been able to utilize my strengths artistically and create a clinical understanding for our patients in the sometimes confusing world of dental treatment procedures. I Love being a health advocate for our patients and enjoy the many ways we can help our patients reach optimal overall health. When I am not in the office I stay active in the outdoors camping, hiking, and traveling whenever possible. I also practice yoga, and love cooking!
